Knowledge of Henred, BPW, Load and Home-made trailers

At least one year experience in the transport industry

Reliable & able to work with minimum supervision

Conducting repairs aiming for maximum reliability

Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner

Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users

Trailer Mechanic

Cross Country Containers is looking to fill in the post of Class 2 Mechanic in one of our workshop department.

Knowledge of Rockwell and Spicer Differentials, Rockwell, Eaton & Meritor Gear Boxes.

At least 2-3years of experience in the transport industry

Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues

Class 2 Mechanic

Under the direction of the Fleet and Logistics Assistant and supervision of District Team Leader, the Driver shall provide a variety of transportation support to ZHI.

A minimum of 5 O’ levels, and any other relevant certificates with a minimum of 5 years’ driving experience

Must have a valid defensive driving certificate and a valid driving license

Must have expert knowledge of driving rules and regulations

Experience of driving 4x4 Landcruiser vehicle is required

Experience as a driver mechanic will be an added advantage

Experience with large complex organization preferred.

Good written, oral, interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors and recipients of assistance

Convey ZHI staff and consultants to designated approved locations

Ensure adequate safety, cleanliness, security and maintenance of the project vehicle assigned

Ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc

Ensure availability of all the required documents / supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and necessary spare parts

Plan route and requirements by studying schedule or ad-hoc request by the office

Ensure passengers adhere to all road safety regulations

Fulfil special request by picking up and delivering items as directed

Relief Driver

Our client in the construction industry is looking for a driver who is able to drive the following 1) 30 tonne trucks, 2) JCB/Backhoe, 3) Excavator & 4) Private Cars

Must have driving licenses in respective fields

At least 3 years operating the excavator and the back hoe

Driver

Our client in the motor industry is looking for a driver who will undertake various transporting duties and delivery services. Primary responsibilities include transporting the company products , carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and interacting with clients in professional conduct.

A class 4 drivers license is an added advantage.

Extensive knowledge of the operating area.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.

Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.

Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.

Interacting with clients in professional conduct.

Maintaining an organized travel schedule.

Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.

Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.

Driving a variety of vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks.
